    ☎ When should I check the Glucose-Meter applying the Check Strip and the SD Control Solution?
     
    - Before using the Glucose-Meter.
    - If the measured level of blood glucose is not accordant to the symptoms.
    - If the measured level of blood glucose is higher or lower than the estimated value, in spite of repeated measurements. 
    - If you want to check  the operation of the Glucose-Meter and the Test-Strip.
    - If you dropped the Glucose-Meter.
    - If you left the Test-Strip bottle open. 
    - You can learn the use through the Operation Manual.

  • Q Outlier
    A
    Case of Consumer Inquiries: 
    ☎ Outliers (very high over 300 or very low) are measured.
     
    Checklist
    1. How many times were outliers (much higher over 300 or much lower than usual) measured?
    2. Did you wash your hands with an alcohol swab?
    3. How much time has passed from the ingestion of foods (fruits, beverage)? 
    4. Inquiry about the storage of the Test-Strip 
      →  How much time has passed from the purchase to the usage?
     
    Troubleshooting
    1. Try the measurement again while talking on the phone.
    2. Personal conditions (various change factors such as stress, diet, and etc.)
    3. The denatured Test-Strip (by the temperature or exposure to the humidity) can cause the higher value of the measurement.
    4. Try a sample test with a sealed Test-Strip.
    5. If blood sample has been inserted into the Glucose-Meter directly, the blood glucose level could result in much higher value by the pollution of the device.

    5. Did you measure  them from the same drop of blood?
    6. Did you measure them from the same finger?
    7. What was the interval between consecutive measurements?
    8. Inquiry about the storage of the Test-Strip 
    9. How much time has passed from the purchase to the usage?
    10. Inquiry about the method for the insertion of blood sample (Check the understanding of the use)

    Troubleshooting
    1. Before the measurement, remove the glucose components by an alcohol swab.
      →  Even though the left over glucose components are invisible, they can cause a huge difference.
    2. The deviation of the blood glucose for diabetics is huge after meals.
      →  Ingestion of fruits or beverage before the measurement could increase the deviation.
      →  Measure on an empty stomach at least 2 hours after meals.
    3. Did you measure them from the same finger?
      →  The deviation of the blood glucose levels exists from different fingers. In case of wide variations, try the measurement after the massage for the smoother blood circulation.
